Competitions

About our internal Club competitions

Our internal competitions are open to all playing members, although some have specific entry requirements. You can enter the competitions from March until the closing date, usually the second Sunday in May, with a few exceptions. The Novice and Clubman competitions remain open to the end of May to give new members joining at the beginning of the season a chance to enter. The men's and ladies' triples are open up to the day of the competition.

The first rounds of the men's, ladies' and mixed competitions will be drawn in the week following the closing date and there are typically 3 weeks between rounds. With the exception of the men's and ladies' triples, competitions are not played on set dates. Each competition has a cut-off date and it is up to the challenger to arrange the game, arrange a marker where appropriate and offer 3 dates to his/her opponent. Once the draw has taken place, details will be on this site.
